Writing prompt 1-2.

I’ve challenged myself to write for the next 30 days for at least 5 minutes (ya know, to make it a habit). And I will take you with me on this journey. The stories will be posted weekly, but I promise I’m writing each day!

She had followed the woman for over a week and now her patience was next to zero. When Alice finally saw the woman once again, she sped up and caught up with her with these words:

“How the hell do you dare to do that?” she whispered through her teeth. She knew that she couldn’t make a scene, so rather she decided to keep it quiet. The other woman, Jenn, was clearly shocked and startled and she did not recognize the person confronting her, but she decided to play her game.

“How the hell do you know that?” she whispered right back at Alice.

“Do you even know what I am talking about?” Alice grinned at Jenny, who grinned back.

“Of course. I wouldn’t be doing my job, if I hadn’t know.” Jenny was looking at Alice trying to read her reaction.

“And what it is that you know?”

“That you don’t have the full picture.” Jenny smirked and started walking, but Alice wasn’t having it. She had to get it off her chest and get some freaking answers. Nobody screws with her or her husband besides Alice.

“I know that you’re secretly meeting with my husband.”

“True. And we do all kind of things together.” When Alice saw that she won’t be able to wipe that smirk off Jenny’s face, she decided to ask her directly.

“Are you sleeping with him?” Jenny laughed and shook her head.

“Girl, that would be weird, considering we are siblings.” Alice’s expression froze as she watched Jenny get into a car, wave at her and then speed away.

“Damn. I got the wrong one.” She said to herself as she put on her hoodie and walked away from the FBI headquarters.

She had missed the last train and there was only one person she could stay at. But after that earlier encounter, she really didn’t want to go there. She sighed and took her phone out of her pocket and dialed Jenny.
“Yeah Alice?” Jenny whispered.

“Hey, can you talk?”

“Give me a second.” Alice could hear Jenny walking somewhere probably more private.

“Go on.”

“Well, I’ve mised my last train and now I am stuck here. I really can’t afford a hotel room and I was wondering…”

“Yeah, sure. I’ll text you my address” Jenny cut her off and then hang up on her.

Geez, she’s weird.” Alice said and smiled. She was waiting for the text to pop up so she could get moving.

“Hm, fancy.” Alice murmered to herself when she saw Jenny’s adress.

A few minutes later she was in a train on her way to Jenny when she saw a woman very familiar to the one she was supposed to spy on. She checked the photo one more time and came to the woman.

“Hey, do we know each other? You seem really familiar…” Alice said to the unknown woman and was waiting for her reaction, but all she got was the woman signing her something which she didn’t understand.

“Sorry.” in order to try and communicate with her she raised her hands and made an apologetic face.

“Damn, you gotta get better at this.” she thought as she was getting off the train.
